April 29, 2013 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Irregular Warfare Support Program awarded a $3,766,906.00 follow on contract to Orbis Operations, LLC to continue delivery of a proactive methodology for recognizing threats and a decision making framework for how to take appropriate risk mitigating actions.

April 8, 2013 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $2,522,743.00 contract to GE Global Research to develop a small low cost device to be inserted into or applied to the outside of packages or cargo to monitor the item for trace amounts of explosive threat materials concealed in packages and cargo originating from high risk regions and from other than trusted shippers.

March 12, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $474,924.00 contract to Protection Engineering Consultants, LLC to design and develop a course for training bomb technicians and tactical breachers to identify safe locations with minimal risk from blast and fragment injuries. The training will use a visual animation to illustrate overpressure in urban settings and instructions on how to use a Safe Zone Estimation Tool.

March 11, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Irregular Warfare Support Program awarded a $1,148,811.00 contract to Center for Innovative Technology to enhance NORTHCOM’s awareness and understanding of changes in popular support for and influence of transnational crime organizations using social media sources.

March 7, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $539,634.00 contract to AirBoss-Defense to develop a next generation CB glove with a balance between level of protection, tactility, and comfort.

March 1, 2013 BAA 13-Q-3025 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $2,116,895.00 contract to System of Systems Analytics, Inc. to support the development, integration, and deployment of scalable tools that will enable military analysts and decision makers to anticipate force activity consequences; discern potential outcomes from political, military, economic, and social interventions; incorporate social science “universals” in course of action analysis/campaign planning/ examine interdependent military, political, economic, and information dynamics; anticipate emergent actors, factions, and powerbases; and compare/contrast multiple courses of action.

February 22, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $260,837.00 contract to International Personnel Protection to develop a new test method to evaluate the liquid integrity of garments/ensembles.

January 29, 2013 BAA 12-A-4747 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $688,539.49 contract to Spectral Labs Inc. for the design and development of a browser-based interactive simulation to train military and emergency response personnel on the topic of chemical agent behaviors and proper response procedures.

January 28, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Investigative Support and Forensics Subgroup awarded a $683,387.00 contract to Quantum Signal LLC to develop a forensic tool capable of analyzing and categorizing counterfeit identity and travel documents and the data associated with them. The tool will identify problem documents, the locations seized and produced, their quality, and manufacturing methods. The information will be used to link the documents to other counterfeits, investigations, and terrorist groups.

January 16, 2013 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Investigative Support and Forensics Subgroup awarded a $553,996.00 contract to Florida International University to develop an automated identification and analysis system for copier toners, inkjet inks, and traditional print ink media. The multi-discipline analysis shall rapidly identify any fraudulent documents and link them with comparable documents associated with other terrorist or criminal incidents, locations, or individuals.

December 22, 2012 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $665,482.00 contract to Getting More, Inc. to deliver and evaluate a high stakes negotiation training program for the war fighter and the interagency community.

December 20, 2012 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $1,690,115.00 contract to White Canvas Group LLC to develop and evaluate a program designed to enhance visual sensory skill performance to move war fighters and law enforcement from normal to elite performance levels.

December 19, 2012 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $$421,167.00 contract to Hardwire, LLC to design and develop a lightweight vehicle armor package for American manufactured sport utility vehicles used in government fleets within the protective services community tasked with transporting and protecting high risk personnel.

December 18, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $1,190,550.00 contract to Dager Technology to plan and implement the National Radiological and Nuclear Detection Challenge, including planning, marketing and communications, registration and attendee coordination, execution of the Challenge, and reporting of best practices and equipment evaluations.

December 11, 2012 – The Improvised Device Defeat Subgroup awarded a $85,543.00 contract to RE2 to develop an Automatic Wire Cutter (AWC) to allow a bomb technician or a robotic platform to place the time-delayed cutter on an electrical lead or trip wire, giving the technician or robot extra time to move a safe distance from a known or suspect improvised explosive device prior to the AWC functioning.

December 10, 2012 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $65,627.34 contract to Adayana Government Group for the design and development of a guidebook on the topic of trade based money laundering in English and Spanish to complement existing training and training materials.

November 19, 2012 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $1,648,195.00 contract to Midwest Research Institute to design and develop a remote activation mechanism integrated within a vehicle that autonomously triggers the device upon detection of pressures and/or accelerations characteristic of pre-defined threats such as roadside improvised explosive devices.

November 15, 2012 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $978,676.00 contract to Sound Innovations Inc. to develop a multi-functional earpiece that provides hearing protection and amplification and monitors/records head accelerations due to blast or blunt impact events.

November 8, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Irregular Warfare Support Program awarded a $3,106,878.00 contract to Orbis Operations, LLC to provide a proactive methodology for recognizing threats and a decision making framework for how to take appropriate risk mitigating actions.

October 26, 2012 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $186,206.25 contract to Adayana Government Group to develop a training package for senior government officials on how to protect themselves and their families against threats such as identity theft, personal security, etc. when not assigned a protective service detail.

October 26, 2012 BAA-11-Q-3830 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Subgroup awarded a $2,352,015.00 contract to Unconventional Concepts, Inc. to perform operations research and systems analysis of current biosurveillance systems and provide a functional BioID system for the easy accessibility to a wide array of biological-related data emerging from research, clinical testing and diagnostics, and other diverse sources.

September 28, 2012 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $753,618.00 contract to TNO Defence, Security and Safety to develop physiological and cognitive tolerance times to heat stress for individuals wearing Class 1 protective equipment.

September 27, 2012 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $1,946,006.00 contract to BAE Systems to develop the capability to automatically compute and report track confidence to improve forensic tracking in wide area motion imagery data.

September 25, 2012 BAA 12-Q-4747 – The Tactical Operations Support Subgroup awarded a $319,912.39 contract to White Canvas Group LLC to enhance the current Border Watch system. Border Watch is a mass alert tool designed specifically for use by U.S. Border Patrol agents and trusted assets to rapidly collect and disseminate reports of suspicious activity or suspect profiles in the field, greatly decreasing response and recovery time. The mass alert system is ubiquitous and allows a high level of situational awareness of activity surrounding U.S. borders through the use of mobile devices in austere and diverse geographies. The recent enhancement of Border Watch includes integration with commercially available camera systems.

September 24, 2012 BAA 12-Q-4701 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $12,749,028.38 contract to Advanced Mission Systems LLC to research, develop, teach, and validate a close target reconnaissance and physical surveillance methodology to be applied by military and interagency personnel.

September 20, 2012 BAA-12-Q-4747 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $840,000.00 contract to Toyon Research Corporation to develop the capability to automatically reconstruct dense e-D models from wide area motion imagery data and use those models to perform 3-D-based geo-registration.

September 7, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $1,148,530.02 contract to System of Systems Analytics, Inc. to develop model predictive controllers that operate in conjunction with the Athena program.

August 23, 2012 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $2,782,723.00 contract to System of Systems Analytics, Inc. to extend development for Cognitive Counter-IED Signatures System and prepare for and execute associated deployment activities.

August 23, 2012 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $2,838,357.00 contract to System of Systems Analytics, Inc. to develop improvised explosive device signatures that will comprise two elements: support in developing needed tools and processes and execution of the developed processes in order to actually populate the C2IS2 signatures library and Red Nodal Model.

August 22, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Tactical Operations Support Subgroup awarded a $9,540,443.92 contract to Roboteam for the Next Generation Tactical Mesh Network, a Windows and Android-based software and hardware solution for transmitting video, voice, and data by small units of dismounted and mounted tactical operators across a secure, high bandwidth mobile ad hoc network radio.

August 13, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $75,100.36 contract to Asymmetric Combat Institute to analyze, develop, and evaluate a course on tactical emergency casualty care.

August 10, 2012 – The Physical Security Subgroup awarded a $1,639,510.00 contract to HALO Maritime Defense Systems for one passive waterside barrier system that integrates well with existing systems.

July 10, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $1,200,00.00 contract to the University of Illinois at Urbana to produce a small, handheld optoelectric detector capable of detecting chemicals and mixtures thereof and categorizing and classifying complex mixtures for subsequent use in insurgent and improvised explosive device manufacturing network identification and tracking.

June 29, 2012 BAA-13-Q-3025 – The Investigative Support and Forensics Subgroup awarded a $675,800.37 contract to Azimuth Incorporated to develop a head-mounted device containing sensors to measure the traditional polygraph measurements of pulse, blood pressure, breathing, and electro-dermal activities and integrate an eye pupil measurement.

June 29, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Subgroup awarded a $400,000.00 contract to Decision Sciences to evaluate existing Decision Sciences’ algorithms application to detection and identification of explosives, people, weapons, and other contraband in cargo.

June 27, 2012 BAA 13-Q-3025 – The Investigative Support and Forensics Subgroup awarded a $204,408.00 contract to the Centre of Expertise in Energetic Materials at Flinders University to develop a searchable database and map for determining the geographical origin of materials or residues from homemade explosives or improvised explosive devices by the comparison of their analytical profiles.

June 26, 2012 BAA 09-Q-4554 – The Training Technology Development Subgroup awarded a $70,600.00 contract to Conflict Kinetics to integrate equipment hardware and transition a simulation system that improves a soldier’s kinetic eye movement and target acquisition skills.

June 13, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Irregular Warfare Support Program awarded a $999,161.00 contract to Gallup, Inc. to develop Combatant Command-level communication activities.

June 12, 2012 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $3,757,979.84 contract to Applied Research Associates to identify injury thresholds for clinically significant changes in neurological function caused by repeated blast exposure to low-level explosions, and develop guidelines for estimating risk of injury, when to seek medical attention, and recommended recovery time between exposures.

May 25, 2012 BAA 11-Q-3830 – The Personnel Protection Subgroup awarded a $1,434,668.34 contract to Applied Research Associates to characterize the nature and severity of injuries resulting from tertiary blast events in sufficient detail to enable prediction of both incapacitation and medical response requirements.

May 17, 2012 BAA-11-Q-3830 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $745,174.24 contract to Semantic Science Pty Ltd to create an integrated system to provide high performance information extraction, entity resolution, clustering, anomaly detection, interest detection, interactive network visualization, and real-time generation of alarms and warnings.

May 10, 2012 – The Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup awarded a $4,494,308.00 contract to Palantir USG, Inc. to integrate, test, and evaluate the analytic platform in a number of specified areas.
